Rumourmongering 101

Hey, Nexus. There's a demon. He's a gangly purple thing and he's perched on a toilet. He seems unconcerned about his choice in seating. He looks downright bored, in fact, chin in hand, elbow on knee.

His long, thin tail switches around a few times, like a considering cat, before he scratches at his beard and asks:

"So, uh. Heard any rumours lately?"

From some rusted metal door tumbled out a haggard looking man with a large thud. He quickly turned around and shuffled back with his heels, a pistol drawn and pointed toward anyone that moved. An immediate reaction that lasted a few moments before anything else sunk in.

His eyes squinted. Green. Blue. Sand, where was the sand? He was sitting on grass. He barely remembered grass. Air, it was rich and the smell of chemical waste didn't cling to it. Breathing was easy. So easy it was almost uncomfortable.

where was he?

"Uhm," Max clamored to his feet and holstered the weapon. "Mm."

Give him a moment. He's only now getting to the pamphlet. He's gone insane. It's finally happened. well, its been long enough. Maybe its a dream, but his dreams weren't usually so... well, there'd be death by now.

"So," finally. "Uh, what do people usually ask when they uh." A hand motion, "come here?"

That's a cheat, but he is still trying to register the fact that he is standing on grass.
