Holiday curiosity for the masses

rogueinladysclothingThings must be changing a lot these days for the Nexus' resident rogue, considering her complete lack of obvious weapons and almost casual look in her combination of jeans, embroidered linen shirt, and corset. Still, Amelia looks a bit confused as she paces the Forum, her brows knitted together tightly as she thinks. Her hair pin jingles noisily as she contemplates how to phrase what's on her mind. After a few minutes of contemplation, she looks up at the Forum, a more curious and determined look on her face.
"Everyone's been talking about 'the holidays' recently. I've heard so many different names thrown around I'm having trouble keeping them straight. Yule, Christmas, Hanukkah, 'New Years' - just to name the most common ones I've heard." There's a small shrug of her shoulders as she stops her pacing and crosses her arms across her chest. "Hearing all of these words make me wonder - are all of these different names for the same holiday? And, if not, what holiday are people actually celebrating?"
