Magic had begun to fade from Albion a long time ago in the wake of its Industrial Revolution, but every now and then it revealed itself. The last time a shining portal had appeared in front of Logan it had been at the behest of an old seeress and only bad news had followed. This time he steeled himself and, sword drawn, stepped inside, apparently ready for whatever might follow.

The Nexus was decidedly not what he had been expecting. It took some time before he sheathed his sword and some more while he took in the strange sights around him. He felt out of place in his shining armour and bright regal attire... Then again, he wasn't entirely sure where here was, or how he might fit in better. Slowly, it dawned on him that he might want to move and answer some of those questions rather than stand and look around in bewilderment. Nobody appeared to be bothered by his sudden arrival, at any rate, which boded well.

What follows is a careful search of the immediate area and a thorough study of the information on offer by way of a brochure. The once-king considers it and the crowd, then stands tall, hands folding behind his back.
