And then she stops as the weight of everything she's been trying to ignore crashing down on her again. It's never far away, but she hasn't lived with it long enough to have learned how to live with it. For a moment, her attention is drawn away from the spark and Bill and what they'd been doing. She doesn't even think to keep hold of Stormbreaker.

It's just for a moment. But lightning moves quickly.
