She's just awful, isn't she? Being back there working on something she's not even going to enjoy and not doing it in a way that's entertaining from where he was sitting, the unmitigated gall. He should file a complaint.

He gets a smirky kind of grin when he gets it. "That was a joke," she confirms. "I don't have a suspension of disbelief, so I don't watch movies or read novels very well. They don't make sense to me."
