In but a moment, her expression goes from joy to sculpted and composed as if a switch had been flipped. Though hints of that same joy seeped into her words, she did not express it as openly as she had during her little outburst of emotion.

She draws close and looks around, cautiously, and leans in as if her question was more than such, a great secret she yearned to share.

"Long have I been told stories from those who partake of communion, of healing and of the spreading of the stories of the gods and their love. Such has it been that I see that man truly loves the gods that made them, but...a curiosity arose upon thinking of this. Though man is ever grateful for their creation, why did the gods create man?"

She looks incredibly intent as she awaits an answer. Perhaps the question was not, strictly speaking, about gods and men but about some other creator and creation?
