Subjective truths are tricky for Ver, but she tries not to call people out on that kind of thing. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, and if it's not running counter to fact, well. Not her business if they think oranges are better than apples, right?

"Study my magic? Sure. I don't know much, but I'd be happy to show you what I know." She's not thinking of the curse; most people never notice it until she's told them about it. They can work out the details of what they're comfortable with later.

"Hmm. There's a spot on one of the roads between here and the commercial district. Maybe... half again as long as your cart, and twice as wide? That'd be room to move around and have people browsing, and there'll be plenty of foot traffic passing by."
