It takes her a moment, and thankfully she has plenty of magic to use to get the small sample into the jar and seal it tightly. It's tempting to just stare at the jar, because wow, is that pretty.

"Okay, I have it... Let me know if things change and the missing piece causes you difficulty or discomfort later." Trixie wasn't sure if taking the small amount of mane would cause issues later, if it did, she'd find some way to undo the damages.

Now, back to the shoes. "It will take me a couple of days to get the shoes done... Do you think you can stop back in three days? I'll be here till the end of the fair, and then likely somewhere in the area afterwards..."
