Tonight, Hunter is sitting on a bar stool in one of the Forum's bars in the commercial district, nursing his third beer of the evening.
The tattooed-covered young man is wearing a light gray tuxedo, so either he has been (or is going) to a semi-formal event. There are no clues to what kind of event that might be.
Right now, Hunter is stoic and quiet, as he finishes the beer. Looking around the bar, he spots a pool table. And, after ordering another beer, Hunter heads over to stake his claim at the table. He finds a place to hang up his coat, rolling up the sleeves of his shirt to reveal the tattoos that cover his arms.
Then he starts playing pool by himself. It really seems like the solo game is meant to be a distraction, doesn't it?

"Hmm. Challenging, challenging," he murmurs, lining up a shot. "Have you found any?" As an afterthought, he adds, "eight ball, center pocket."
It's a good thing he stopped using his cane.

Hunter takes a moment to express his emotions. "I think it is one of those pieces where I just really want him to like it. And I feel nervous."

"Perhaps," he suggests, "if you cannot find a noble example of a vampire, you should create one. What would be heroic, that only a vampire could do?"

"Indeed. Is that not a scene worthy of the canvas?"
He sets aside his cue for a moment, taking up his cane/wand and rapping it once on the table, summoning all the balls out to rack up again. That done, he glances to Hunter to see if he'd like another round.

Hunter nods at the silent question.
[By the way, Hunter will send over three canvas for safe keeping after this conversation. And Here they are]

((Oh, lovely. They'll be well-looked-after, and soundly appreciated.))
"Perhaps," Schön suggests, gesturing to invite Hunter to break, "you might borrow some iconography from an established genre? The imagery of saints performing their miracles, perhaps."
no subject
"Maybe some holy light? But not too bright..."
no subject
"That's a thought," Schön encourages, adding, "oh, well struck."

"Mm. Stark silver and deep shadows, very much the classical trappings of the vampire. The high contrast could suit your style well."

"I'm pleased I could be of some small help." He genuinely is--acting as a muse to artists is meat and drink to his kind.

"You know how to reach me," Schön replies, ever encouraging on such matters. "What might you need, do you think?"

"Hazards, indeed," Schön murmurs. "How much is too much?"

"Mm. I see the peril," he concedes. "Do I take it he doesn't quite share your feelings at present?"

"Ah. We tread the wide, trackless plain of 'it's complicated,' then."

"I value his friendship, and don't want to ruin anything."
no subject
"Have you spoken with him about it?" Schön glances to the table; is it still Hunter's turn, or has his friend been waiting on him to take a shot?
no subject
"We have spoken. All that fun awkwardness. That is why I know his concerns."
no subject
"Ah. A good time to let the matter rest awhile, then," he muses, taking a shot and sinking it. "As difficult as waiting can be. Do you think he has inclinations in your direction?" A second shot is less successful, and Schön straightens up to relinquish the table to Hunter.
