The little dragon lets out a noise that sounds rather like eep! and it hops up, vanishing with a popping sound as soon as it's airborne. It reappears a few feet away, watching the puppy suspiciously.

Clark laughs a little at her question. "No, he never went with me on my other job. It's too bad though; he would've been cute in a domino mask."
