The thrills make settling down and settling in even more enjoyable if absolutely nothing else. Verity has proven time and again that she can most certainly rise to the challenge. And Matt? He has made it a point to be less careless, less foolhardy. It's hard to go home all busted up. Body armor can only do so many things.

They are two birds on the wing with no armor or big cares in the world. Matt doesn't mind his own outfit--canary yellow--getting wrinkled or ruffled.
