Really, she shouldn't be here. Right now, she and her body host should be with Agnès at the Inn in Caldisla- they've just finished the festivities of their victory over that crazy lady Whyte and that awesome dude Lehr (giving them their Asterisks. MONK ASTERISK FOR LIIIFE, she proclaimed in Tiz's head).

But here she was, in her body host, staring around the area before seeing the sign and the brochures. Checking out one of the latters, Dix sighed as she shook her head. "And I was wondering why Tiz was unresponsive," she muttered to herself, her voice coming out pseudo-disembodied from the young man's body, with a strange echo within.

"A question, they say. Well, I've got one for you guys, if you're willing to lend an ear- what's the weirdest place you've ever woken up in?"

Echoing soprano plus Tiz's body does equal weirdness. "How did you ended up halfway up a ferris wheel?" She had to ask, gaping at him.

"I'm not certain," he admits thoughtfully. "I'd been forced into a tuxedo and dragged to a charity event or something. From what I heard later, I'd gathered a small group together and we all ended up in various spots around the city. So I presume it was a combination of wine and adventure."

"Welp, if alcohol's involved, I shouldn't be too surprised. The tales I can tell from back home involving hard liquor are plentiful. Some of them even include me." Her face went red at that thought.

"Do they indeed?" It's a safe bet, judging by his tone, that he's going to ask about those stories at some point. "Where is the strangest place you've ever woken up in?"

[celestial_dix]

"Woke up on the top of my old ballet teacher's fridge, after a night at her place. We playing a drinking game with wine, flavored popcorn and a really bad movie." She grins. "That's taking into factor the fact that I'm symbiotically possessing someone at the moment, as his guardian of sorts."

He nods understandingly as she tells him her story. It reminds him of a few of his own. The possession would explain a few things... "Does possesion turn normal nights into wild ones?"

Oh, wait, that's not what she meant. "I mean, for me, my waking up on top of a fridge is stranger than my possessing someone. Thought so far, being in the body of someone with a different reproductive system is... fascinating."

"Ah." His brow lifts a little bit and he tries not to smile. "That must make dating interesting."

"Hahaha! For him, that is. I'm not exactly looking for the moment... besides, if there was someone I'd want to date, it's my host! He hits on a good number of what I find attractive... but we're incompatible, and he's got this crush on another girl that I just HAVE to tease him about. It's much more entertaining, actually."

Reynard grins cheekily. "And you're here to be his guardian. Poor boy."

Her own grin seem to try and split her face in half. "Well, he could've had an ever worst guardian who doesn't care much about him, so at least he's in good hands!"

He chuckles. "I think our idea of guardian might be a little different."

Then he holds out his hand. "I'm Reynard North."

[celestial_dix]

And she'll gladly shake on introductions. "You can call me Dix. Something I've picked up during my travels." Like the fact her alias was based on her host's name.

"It's a pleasure, my dear. May I ask what you are? Other than a guardian."

[celestial_dix]

"A trans-dimensional traveler of sorts?" She grins sheeplessly. "It's the most accurate thing I can give."
