+1 fish warrior
[The Nexus has no shortage of bringing people in from random places and times, and today a small portal seems to open up a few feet away from the question area. Being dumped from said portal is an armor-wearing fish, presumably female, by the long red ponytail she sports. The fish-woman's body seems to be shimming, as if her very body is trying to disappear at any second. Finally, the shimmering aura dissipates, leaving the fish-woman barely alive on the Nexus floor.
She manages to look up, and is taken back by the scenery. This isn't the Underground, nor does she see any monsters around either. Struggling to stand, she musters up a few words to any nearby denizen of the Nexus.]
W-where am I? Is this what it's like to die? Alphys? Asgore? Anyone?
[She's still trying to fully comprehend the situation, but it's clear that she's gravely injured. Help might be something she needs, but isn't willing to ask for.]

happy someone knows who she is
"Yeah...What proof do you have? You have no idea what I've been through." [She's a bit snappy right now given her recent predicament with a certain violent human child and being thrown into a new world.] "Wanna tell me where I'm at if this isn't the afterlife?"
best fishperson. also irony considering my char's VA also has someone who watches a Nexus :V
awesome :)
[She turns around to look for whatever door or portal brought her here, but it's gone. Undyne's face becomes angry almost instantly.] "No! That means the child is still alive! And I'm stuck here!" [As if on cue, a blue spear appears in her hand.] "This isn't the hope I had in mind!"

"A way back home! There's a human child and they're going to doom the entire world if not stopped! I have to go back and stop them!"

"Why in the hell are you apologizing? Unless you brought me here, there's no point in taking the blame for something like this." [And she gestures to the Nexus.] "But every moment I stand here, they get closer to ending everything...There has to be a way back."
no subject
"I would not. It is not my place to summon, merely to soothe and aide where I may," she apologetically intones. "From my base understanding, your thoughts would be accurate. From whence a door opened, it may indeed become opened again but in the other way....but, as you are, will you be able to do aught but succumb?"
no subject
"Me? Succumb? I'm the captain of the Royal Guard!" [She summons another spear confidently.] "I'll show you true strength..." [And she's about to lob the spear at another Nexus furniture object, but finds her hand shaking violently. The weapon drops to the floor and disappears, causing Undyne to laugh weakly.]
"Huh...Damnit...I didn't think the kid actually did that much damage to me."

"Heh...What are you looking at? Never seen a monster like me before?"

[Undyne stands there, one gloved hand running over the top of her battle-scarred armor. She can feel spots where blood is drying up and bones are broken and bruised. Could she really go back and protect anyone in this shape?]
"I've never been the type to sit around and do nothing. Always charging forward with determination. This is a strange feeling right now. To be stuck in another place like the Underground."
no subject
Eyes on the inside also good for cheating"Then do not sit around and accomplish nothing. Charge forth in thine recuperation with fullest determination. It would do no good to find your returning path if you could not accomplish your goal, is it not?"
no subject
"...I hate to admit that you're right. So many people's hopes and dreams are riding on me and damnit, if I can't fight, then what good am I to them?" [She limps herself over to a nearby chair, small drops of blood falling near her armored boots.] "How can a doll like you provide such spot on advice anyways? Do you have a human soul in you?"
no subject
Don't mind the little ones gawking wordlessly at you from at the Plain Doll's feet, Undyne. You're only the most interesting fish person they've seen so far.no subject
[Thankfully, she's not looking at her feet either. No need for creepy paranormal stuff on the day where you nearly died, after all.]
no subject
The little ones aren't creepy! They're cute and sweet and staring at the fishie in rapturous awe!no subject
[She's rather confused by the doll having no idea what a soul is.] "So, how long have you been in this place?"
no subject
"I am...unsure. The Night of the Hunt still malingers over Yharnam and yet it seems that the sun has risen and set far too often here..." she admits with a fair share of muted confusion.
