Someone watches too much tokusatsu

One of the portals open seemingly on its own, without any new visitor, or at least it seems that way until somebody looks down at the crown of blue hair moving at barely five feet of height, wandering and looking around with a drink far too rainbow-colored to be allowed outside of karaoke bars.

"This is not Comiket..."

Deciding to attribute this visage to the booze, she wanders around the forum, listening, and getting a gist of things. Believing to be (understandably) drunker than she actually was, she interrupts whoever had the intention of asking first.

"Hello, everyone! I am Konata Izumi. Let's say you become a superhero and intend on fighting crime in a flashy outfit, like many of you guys." She raises her drink even higher than herself. "What would your heroic speech be? Go on! Time counts and you must thrill your audience!"

((OOC: Konata will only fourth wall characters with their respective muns' permission, so if you're cool with her recognizing/fourthwalling your character, mention it below!))

"A... heroic speech?" Dix pondered. "Like, from magical girl shows, or that one with the drill and the robots, or..."

Konata pointed at Dix. "Tokusatsu! Live action shows for special forces that fight evil in sparkling costumes and sometimes using giant robots!" she waved her free hand, "they're related, so it's not uncommon to have them overlap."

"Good job!" Konata gives her thumbs up, congratulating in the english she knew.

And Dix smirks, puts her hand into her pouch, and takes out a strange gemstone out of it. "Why not go all the way?"

And with a quick flash of light, Dix's outfit changed, and she quickly pose.

"If you think I've got no tricks up my sleeve, think again! The Celestial Dix always has an ace in her hole, so I'll give you five seconds just to run, else I'll pave you right into the cobblestones! You can't escape the light of the Crystals!"

"That was amazing!"

She even looked straight out of a shonen anime! Konata manages not to drop her drink.

"Your show would be so awesome! You can even change clothes at will! I wish I could cosplay as good!"

"Pretty cool, huh?" She smirks. "I have another outfit, but this one's my favorite!"

Konata then notices a common problem in the cosplay cafe.

"Isn't it cold, though?"

Cue a cheese-eating grin. "Nope!"

"You don't? Aaah, it's really cool! A lot of friends I know that do cosplay aren't much into some characters that reveal too much. You are really cool! How do you do it, and can other people get to carry as many clothes with themselves like you?"

[celestial_dix]

She grins. "Ah, but that's giving away my secret! I don't want other people to try and take my skills and say it's theirs, you know?"

Konata frowns.

"Hnnn... I understand, but it'd solve so many problems."

[hudson_nottheriver]

Hudson seems amused by the thought of a heroic speech. "Usually, we just roar as we swoop down and knock 'em out. Far more efficient than announcing your presence and opening up yeself to attack."

Konata drunkenly looked up at the large, large gargoyle as if it were a common sight. So far it is under the glass in her hand.

"Well, I guess that makes sense when you actually want to do your job, but that doesn't fly for a show, since you have to keep your audience entertained, and part of the thrill is having these people act heroic in the face of evil! I know you can think of something."

"Oh, for a show, is it? I suppose that's different. I suppose I could go something like:

Beware, evil-doers, for your reckoning is at hand!
So says Hudson of the Wyvern clan!
ROOOOOOARRR!!!!!"

Konata's long hair waves with the shockwave of the gargoyle's roar. Her drink's umbrella falls down.

"That was amazing! You can even scare your enemies with it!"

[hudson_nottheriver]

"Why, thank ye. That be the plan. Generally, we just skip straight to the roar though," Hudson replied with a cheeky wink.

[bluehairedotaku]

"Well, that's understandable! In real lif eyou don't have as much time to surprise, so every act counts, but you'd still get to scare with or without the speech if you don't find it insulting."

[hudson_nottheriver]

"Aye, ideally. I do wish humans wouldn't fear us as much but I admit it can be useful." A little rumble resembling a chuckle gurgles forth from his massive belly.
