Snow has fallen in the Nexus! Fat, fluffy flakes of white, piling and drifting from ankle- to knee-depth in places. It may still be falling, in places, and in the midst of it all is a Norse godling packing snowballs and a grin. "I swear, I had nothing to do with it--but! What's your favorite thing to do with a fresh fall of snow?"

Verity looks around at the surprise snow and draws her terribly Asgardian-style coat closer as she thinks. And then, slowly, that mischievous smile of hers works its way out. If she can catch her favorite little godling unaware, all the better; either way, she holds her hands out to either side and draws them forward as if to start a wave. She's got just enough magic to gather up the very top layer of snow in a wave and send it crashing over Loki. It's just a dusting, but she's awfully proud of herself.

"Well, shit." There's the kid from the Samhain Ball, smack dab in the middle of a winter wonderland on the edge of the forum. Jim rolls his eyes and walks off, actually PINpointing out a moment later.

Must not like the season.

But then he's back, coat and boots and gloves on, and tossing a hat and gloves Loki's way.

"Build a fort, obviously. You any good, kid?"

"I knew it was a matter of time." It is winter. And if it wasn't snowing in New York already, and it is, it's snowing here. Matt has a red scarf and needs to look into upgrading a coat and fast. But first there's nothing like feeling snow melt on your face and tongue. It's got nothing to do with age and everything to do with sensation. Deal with it.

A man in his usual blue military uniform may be cursing himself internally for not wearing his regulation coat today, but he'll be damned if he isn't excited to see the snow. The question from the young Loki gets a grin as Hughes saunters over through a patch of ankle-deep snow. (Thanks goodness for regulation boots!)

"Snow is best enjoyed with family, so my favorite thing to do is to take my daughter out in it as soon as it's deep enough to go sledding on some hills in a park. I may or may not join her from time to time, if the hill's too steep for her to go by herself." He gives a wink with that one and can't help the chuckle that follows. Because what dad who loves his daughter as much as Hughes loves his could possibly resist sledding with said daughter from time to time?

The man's not exactly dressed for winter. He's in a nicely pressed pair of slacks, dress shirt and vest, but doesn't seem to be bothered by the cold in the least. Smiling, he watches the drifting snowflakes, hands behind his back, before hearing Loki's question.

"Oh, I rather like watching it from my office window as it falls. It's a very quiet, comforting thing, don't you think? Especially if lit by street lamps, making it all golden orange."

Reynard doesn't even answer. Who stops to talk when there are snowball fights to be had? No, he'll just aim his first snowball for right at the Norse god with a dramatic, "Haha!"
