A pale woman lies on a pile of ornate cushions somewhere in the forum. Her chest moved slowly with each breath as she slumbered, and she clutched a brochure that someone left laying beside her. She wore a long, silky, dress that matched the color of her coppery red hair. The dress was a little too long though. People who passed seemed to be tripping on it quite a bit. Not that it seemed to stir her from her deep sleep.

Perhaps someone should wake the girl and ask her to move? Or at least change?

((OOC: New here, with an odd muse. Taking a crack at a humanized sun goddess from silent hill Info link in her bio. So sort of an oc?))

She shrieked and sprung to her feet. She looked around wildly and with a dark,but confused, look.

"What is the meaning of this?!"

Reynard schools his features into a terrible attempt at looking innocent. When she casts her eye over him, he lifts his arms in a shrug and shakes his head. Surely he has no clue what that was.

She spots the man, and points at him.

"You! Come here!"

You must know who it was that dared to cause her to feel this awful feeling of coldness!

He looks around to double check it's him she's barking at, adjusts his hat and then strides over. "Yes? Something the matter, my dear?"

"Mortal, tell me who has done this! Perhaps I will reward you greatly if you do."

She shakes around the tightly clutched brochure at the piles of snow around her. She apparently never dropped it despite all the excitement.

Reynard leans closer, inspecting the area with s serious expression. After a minute of this, he straightens with a nod of certainty and looks up again at the woman.

"The snow."

"What about the snow?"

She expects you know more than that! Tell her!

"The snow is the culprit," he says matter of factly, waving at the pile of powdery coldness. "That's what woke you up. It's probably why you're so cold too."

She narrows her eyes and stares at him hard.

"How dumb do you think I am?"

"No idea," he chirps pleasantly. "I've never met you before. "

She grabs the man by the collar.

"Perhaps it is you that was at fault!"

Because you piss her off...

If she does touch his skin at all she will find it ice cold, and even if she doesn't, she'll likely feel how cool the air around him is.

His eyebrows lift and a low chuckle rumbles from his throat. "Mhm, how very forward of you. We don't even know each other's name..."

Looking to push his luck and her buttons...? Quite probably... Most definitely.

Her face scrunches up and turns a bright red.

"You wretched fool!"

Too angry to notice the chill around him she finds herself impulsively trying to backhand him.

Why would it go well? Trouble is so much fun!

The Anti-Violence Field stops the woman's hand from doing any more than brushing his cheek. Somehow, his eyebrows manage to go higher.

After a poignant second, he tilts his head quizzically. "Are we taking turns?"

She tries to shake the man.

"No!"

She's having a full on temper tantrum at this point, and isn't really capable of thinking clearly.

Funny thing is, he's usually very light during Winter, because he can be, but he has to make an effort to become as heavy as a block of ice when she tries to shake him. He pats her hand gently. "Calm down, my dear. No need to fuss. Really, I can't have annoyed you that much."

He definitely could have. Easily. Even without the earlier snow dump.

[She stops shaking but not before letting out an animalistic growl. She stares him over while tugging on her own hair.]

Yes, you have!

"Would it make you feel better if you could slap me?"

[reedyserpents]

[She stomps up and down.]

YES!

[shardofwinter]

He tries for a quick, light slap across her cheek.

Completely loosing it she throws herself at the man to strangle him. Of course she doesn't realize that it's not going to work, but that's not important.

That's a bit too much for him to allow, so she ends up throwing herself through him. It's not a trick he uses much as a spirit, but this is too handy not to.

"How rude of you! You should know to be nicer to strangers. You never know who you're trying to attack!"

Caught off guard she finds herself colliding with the ground. Her tantrum only grows more intense as she just starts thrashing around on the floor.

Reynard simply stops and... stares. It's not what he expected and he's not entirely sure what to do about it. But, after a moment's thought, he waves a hand and the thrashing woman finds herself as an Arctic hare. He beams.

"Perfect! Now you'll be able to deal with the snow and you can use up all that energy!" The beaming turns into a sneaky grin. "And it serves you right for trying to slap a Winter spirit. Enjoy, my dear! Or, heh, my hare."

An angry little rabbit takes off away from the strange winter spirit. Eventually maybe she'll calm down. Or not, who knows.
