“Quite the locale.” Says a young lady perfectly poised on a couch. (Naturally she’s picked out the fanciest couch available, complete with velvet seats and gold trim.) She’s been settled there for the past hour or so, not saying much of anything and just watching.
She still keeps her eyes wandering as she speaks, taking in everything she can and mentally cataloguing it away.
”Very well then, since it is apparently good form to ask a question here… how would any of you handle a situation where you’re outnumbered? Or more specifically, when your resources are diminished compared to before, and there are still obstacles ahead of you.”
((OOC: Testing the waters on an AU concept! The fine details/info probably won’t come up, but they are a driving background force and are written up on the character journal!))

"You deal with them one at a time." Have a semi-social stranger, redheaded lady, with pink hair in epic Viking braids and a lot of black clothes. "Or, if that's not an option, find a way to make them fight each other while you prepare to deal with whoever's left."
Verity's got a hot akhaccino and time to spare. So bring on the philosophical debate or the unfortunately common 'oh but that'll never work's.

There's a thought. Though one wonders if it would be possible to make shadows fight each other. Though perhaps with a little more research, and seeing if there might be technological or arcane means to do so...
Mitsuru hums over the idea.
"I'm not certain of the practicality in this situation... but it's also an interesting notion. Do you have any experience in it?"

Her voice drifts off and for a moment, her thoughts turn inward. Loki would love this sort of thing. She wishes he were here.
"A campaign of half-truths and disinformation might help. Say just enough to make them think it was their idea all along when they notice something seems off. Confirmation bias is a power motivator. Add a little paranoia, and well."

If they have a mindset at all.

"You're welcome. I hope it helps. Can... may I ask what it is you're dealing with?"

'You came with a plan, in the case of a situation like this.' She reminds herself.
"I am dealing with... a problem with a supernatural bent to it. I admit, if I was in any location other than a dimensional crossroads, I wouldn't readily admit that. It isn't a common situation in my world."
All truth, so far. Now she just needs to... omit a few things.
"I feel a sense of responsibility, as the the enemies we're discussing have few scruples over preying on humanity."

"We do seem to specialize in unusual situations." But there's not really any details to work with in that answer. Ver can take a hint. "I hope you can find some kind of resolution."

One can hope, at least.
Even if she isn't exactly sure how she'd approach a conversation like that.no subject
She doesn't have to want people to be like her just because she's a grump.
