“Quite the locale.” Says a young lady perfectly poised on a couch. (Naturally she’s picked out the fanciest couch available, complete with velvet seats and gold trim.) She’s been settled there for the past hour or so, not saying much of anything and just watching.

She still keeps her eyes wandering as she speaks, taking in everything she can and mentally cataloguing it away.

”Very well then, since it is apparently good form to ask a question here… how would any of you handle a situation where you’re outnumbered? Or more specifically, when your resources are diminished compared to before, and there are still obstacles ahead of you.”

((OOC: Testing the waters on an AU concept! The fine details/info probably won’t come up, but they are a driving background force and are written up on the character journal!))

So young.

But Tatsuya was always the strongest of all of them and he was only eighteen then. Had it already been that long ago? This feeling is making him nostalgic, Miss Kirijo. He didn't even know he could feel that about the end of the world.

"Tell me. In a world where rumors become reality, where the gods themselves walk among men and pull humanity by puppeteer strings, would you do anything else? One step at a time. One swift stroke. One more dangerous lair. One more demon." The officer adjusts his glasses and sighs lightly.

"Forgive me for rambling. It has, yes. Suffice it to say I would not be here if it hadn't." His world would not be here. Helios stirs in the back of the officer's mind, intrigued by the newcomer. "Officer Suou, Sumaru PD. It's a pleasure, Miss." He gives the young lady a polite bow of greeting. Had he his business card on him, she would undoubtedly receive one of those, too.

"PD? You're a cop?"

A bar selling energy drinks and power smoothies could only distract him for so long, and it's natural to stick close to those you know. Mitsuru is the only one that fits that criteria at this time. She's always had the confidence to mingle in his eyes. Akihiko, on the other hand, lacks some sophistication and manners.

"I am, yes. Detective, actually."

This new young man gets Katsuya's attention shifted to him. Again. Resonance. They must be here together. Of this Katsuya is most certain. Two new faces in the Nexus, both of whom are Persona users?

Helios reacts to the presences, a warm aura of assurance to the young Persona users.

"You two are students, I presume? I don't recognize the uniforms, my apologies."

I'm all good with people posting in whatever order they want!

"The apology is not necessary, as introductions are in order." Mitsuru latches onto that first. Talking more about the arcane nature Detective Suou hinted at, and addressing that strange resonance in the back of her head, while they are all important, can also wait until later. Etiquette is CLEARLY the top priority in this situation.

"I am Mitsuru Kirijo. This" she gestures to Akihiko with one manicured finger. "Is my associate, classmate, and... and friend Akihiko Sanada. We both will be third years at Gekkoukan High School, starting next semester. That said..."

She carefully levels a gaze on Suou, trying to gauge his reaction to what she says next.

"...I am familiar with Sumaru City, to a degree. In as much that the Kirijo Group has some financial holdings and offices there, and I've read some reports... some of them more interesting than others." She glances to Akhiko as she speaks, trying to put a slight inflection on 'interesting' so he gets the idea; they aren't talking about stock prices in this situation.

"I'm afraid I"m not familiar with the name." He adjusts his tie and sunglasses with a shake of his head. "We may come from different timelines. It would be accurate to say that where and when I am from is Sumaru, Japan circa 2003. And in my time, aside form the usual zaibatsu such as the Nanjo group or the Nakamura estates..the only names we heard often were the Sudou and Kandori."

Of course, he can't know of the link between the Nanjo group and the Kirijo--even if he is good friends with Kei Nanjo. It wasn't the sort of talk that came up when they were busy trying to keep the world from being obliterated.
