Well, that didn't took long.
If one were to pass by the residential district, they may pass by a small Art Nouveau house being inspected by Dix and Tiz.. From the conversation that can be audible, it sounds like Dix is trying to tell Tiz the merits of having a house in the Nexus until they go back to Luxendarc, among other things. Tiz starts out unsure of the idea, but as she explains the practicalities further, he seems to be agreeing with the idea.
When the duo comes out of the house, there's a small grin on their face.
"So!" Dix's soprano voice echoed as she spoke. "Tiz and I are interested in inhabiting this cozy place- until we go back to Luxendarc, and neither of us know when that will happen. I've just got a simple question- does this place use real estate or something like it, or it's just a first come, first serve kinda thing?"

"Good Lord, man, warn us when you're about to pop out! That's still a thing I'm not used to!" She pouted. "And the name's Dix. The kid I'm symbiotically possessing is Tiz Arrior.
And you mention prices?"

At the introduction, he doffs his hat. "Charmed, I'm sure, to meet you both. Schön W. Freund, at your service."
He hangs his hat on the head of his cane (which appears to be standing upright, unsupported). "I did, indeed, mention prices. More the question thereof, in truth: what are you prepared to offer?"
no subject
"As to what I can offer..."
She searches into her bag until pulling out a small vial filled with golden dust... or so it seems in the light. "I do have spare Celestial Dust on me."

"Should you encounter any organization or oversight in this place, do let me know," he answers dryly.

Right?
She mentally sighs. "Neither of us are sure when we're going back to where we're from, so until then, we thought it would be best to find a place to stay so we don't need to shuffle around in a hotel. Not to mention," she grinned, "I've always wanted a house like this! It's got everything the two of us need!"

Still, he notices the plural pronouns. There's a polite lift of his eyebrows, and then he makes a silent little mental probe. He's no reader of thoughts exactly, only the shape and structure of a mind. Or two in this case.
"Ah. I see." He pans his gaze over the street of oddities. "I suppose there is something in having a base of operations, even here. I hope it remains stable for you."
no subject
"The same here."
