After a brief conversation with someone else, Drusilla had decided to stay in the Forum for a little bit and look around the busy commercial district. Most of the time, her interest strays to any market booths that offer books.
The young woman might stand out a little, as she is dressed in Victoria-era clothing. But she moves with comfort and ease through the Forum, as if she has been here before.
Eventually, she finds a place to sit down with a few of the books she had purchased. Carefully, even while wearing gloves, Drusilla flips through the pages of the book with interest.
"It would be so interesting to travel to the places one finds in books. I wonder, where the line between fictional and reality truly blend?"

"It is that," he agrees. "Is there a story you favor, perchance?"

"A healthy occupation. Is it here in the Nexus? Or in your own world, somewhere?"

"Food for thought. I've been known to make occasional arrangements for real estate here, from time to time." He feigns embarrassment, adding, "ah, but where are my manners? Schön W. Freund, at your service."
no subject
"Out of curiosity, what sort of arrangements can you make?"

Schön bows over her hand, not quite bringing it to his lips. "Ms. Kent, a pleasure." When he lets go, she'll find a business card with his name on it tucked into her hand.
"I help people find spaces suited to their needs, secure those spaces from unwanted intrusion, and help keep them from being shuffled around in the fluid geography." He preens just a little in the course of sweeping off his hat.

"It sounds like a challenging job. I would have never thought to worry about changes in the geography."

The card is white, untextured, with the name "Schön W. Freund" in embossed black letters. Under his name, in smaller letters, the word "Entrepeneur." Along the bottom edge of the card, in glossy white (and thus, only visible when they catch the light) are a series of numbers--a phone number or PINpoint ID, most likely.
"It's one of the peculiarities of doing business in the Nexus. There aren't many places like it, and one must learn by doing."

"I would imagine it would take a lot of courage and dedication to set up a shop here."
no subject
"Only if one views the Nexus as a strange and frightening place. To some, it seems an ideal opportunity."

And then he'll smile at her. "I rather like your outfit. It suits you."

Dru smiles in response. "Thank you. I sewed it myself."

Kazuma looks impressed, taking a few steps closer. "Did you really? May I get a closer look at the workmanship?"
no subject
"I'm Drusilla Kent." She figures an introduction would also be good right now. "But, most people call me Dru."
no subject
"A pleasure to meet you. I am Kazuma."

"My mother is a fashion designer, so she taught me how to sew at an early age."
