Ah, Roman Godfrey. He strolls with a lazy directionless pace and is unafraid to stare as much as he gets his own looks. What is with people? Finding a seat he reaches into his blazer for a cigarette and a lighter. Nexus doesn't have any rules about juveniles right?
"So is this the part where I ask something philosophical or just start giving advice out of my ass?" His expression stays neutral until his mouth tilts in a slow smirk.
"Fine. I'll shoot. What do you do when you feel like you're meant to do something important but have no clue what it is?"

Metaphorical macaroni and full fledged patience trying is spelling an obstacle in patience. "Toys. Cars. Balls. Actual items meant for play. Don't your parents give you those?"
no subject
"Well, tradition's a silly reason to do anything," counters one of the original devil's advocates. "If you don't know, why do it?" Of course, with someone like Loki, "whim" and "spite" are often acceptable answers.
"Well, you can play with those, I'll grant," Loki concedes, dodging the question about what his parents give him, "but how much can you make with them, apart from messes?"
no subject
"Messes are things." And he made plenty of them either. It's a standard practice.

"That's hardly my fault. Why don't you go?" It's an innocent enough question... isn't it?
"Yes, but I specifically excluded them. With my words."
no subject
"Making things is overrated," complete with a shrug. Yep, spoken like an overgrown destroyer of all things.

"There's seriously better things to do than running through the night with your friends, dressed outrageously and having fun wherever you find it?" This kid looks deeply skeptical.
"Is it? I could buy a hammer... or I could make some really good hammers. I could buy a firework, or I could make amazing fireworks! Even if you like breaking more, it's good to make something to break with."
no subject
"Just because it's yours and you made it doesn't mean that the quality is better." And his brow furrows together. "...You make fireworks?"

Loki sighs, shaking his head in dismay. "There it is again, the mortal obsession with rutting. You could teach stags how it's done, honestly."
"Ah, but the thing I make is exactly what I want it to be, not some one-size-fits-all replaceable part." He grins, answering, "I make lots of things. Fireworks aren't so hard."
no subject
Miserable. Short. God, Roman never wants to get old or sick.
"Every time? Even if you've never done it before it is exactly how you imagined it?" Because that's where he's going to call bullshit. None of these smaller details are adding up. Making fireworks and being just so odd.

Loki just rolls his eyes. May he never be as sex-obsessed as mortals!
"Well, practice makes perfect," he admits, "but talent goes a long way, too."
