The season is a'changing, the weather is warmer. The forecast calls for high temperature, low humidity and a light breeze. A near perfect day. What better reason to gather the friends and have a good time with a bonfire? Grab a beer, have a seat. Cheery tunes fill the salty air. There's plenty of room and so much to eat.

Matt Murdock is actually dressed for the beach. Still likely more than usual. He burns so easily. There's no way he could have done this alone. Anyone who is anyone in Nexus knows that there is that distinct Verity Willis touch on everything. If the sounds and the sights don't get you, it is going to be whatever Clint has on the grill. That man is magic.

"I am Groot," the tree promises pleasantly. He wouldn't want the party games to be insufficiently party-ish through Groot shortage.

"Excellent." The more the merrier as it is. Throw Prom King to beat all Prom Kings in the mix and merriest of all. "Oh and my good friend Foggy is coming. You have to meet him."

Groot is always interested to meet new people. "I am Groot?" he inquires.

"Yeah. He's a college buddy. The kind you make for life. He's been here a time or two but never to a Nexus party." So he hasn't really been here in other words.

Is that rumble Groot just made a chuckle? It's hard to tell, sometimes.

Probably? Hopefully. Matt is going to say yes. He laughs a little too. "Anyways, he's a real great guy. I think you both would hit it off."

"I am Groot," the big guy opines, patting the little human gently on the shoulder.

"Thanks, buddy." For being a good friend, and for being considerate to their size difference. Matt's pretty sure this is a any "friend is a friend of mine" kind of a talk. Groot-ish is a little hard to pick up on. Swell guy.

It's a subtle language Groot speaks. He gives another contented rumble, adding, "I am Groot," for good measure.
