The season is a'changing, the weather is warmer. The forecast calls for high temperature, low humidity and a light breeze. A near perfect day. What better reason to gather the friends and have a good time with a bonfire? Grab a beer, have a seat. Cheery tunes fill the salty air. There's plenty of room and so much to eat.

Matt Murdock is actually dressed for the beach. Still likely more than usual. He burns so easily. There's no way he could have done this alone. Anyone who is anyone in Nexus knows that there is that distinct Verity Willis touch on everything. If the sounds and the sights don't get you, it is going to be whatever Clint has on the grill. That man is magic.

One of Hunter's tattoos is new, and springs from his exposed skin to land on all four paws, as real and three-dimensional as at least most of the other party-goers. He gently digs his clawtips into the sand and makes a noise that almost sounds like a purr. "This sand is most pleasant."

Another good reason to be shirtless today. "It is a beautiful day. You should make some rounds. Meet some of my friends."

"You know most of these people?" Faris asks, tilting his head to the side to get a better look at the others. He is not shy, of course, but introductions can go better when there's a mutual friend already. Or at least an acquaintance.

"A few of them. And some I just met today, but they are all good people."

Faris has little reason not to trust Hunter's judgment. He's been helpful and kindhearted thus far. "New friends can be just as valuable as the old."

"And I won't go anywhere, without you. So you can be free to explore."

[poetwarrior]

Faris bows his head slightly. "I know you will not. It will be good to feel the natural world under my paws once more."

[losthunter]

"Is your home world a lot like this setting?"

[poetwarrior]

"Not as such, no. But I have visited a location such as this on another planet or two in the past."

[losthunter]

"My world doesn't have space travel. That is one nice thing about the Nexus... getting to see different worlds without having to go far from home."

[poetwarrior]

Faris tilts his head to the side. "It is a form of... tourism, then?"

[losthunter]

"It can be used in that form. Most places in the Nexus have an anti-violence field, so you are pretty safe from being hurt by violence."

"But you still should be cautious."

[poetwarrior]

"I am a poet-warrior of the K'da. I am always cautious," Faris says, raising his nose slightly.

[losthunter]

"That is a good attitude to have."

[poetwarrior]

"I am pleased that you agree," Faris says with a slight nod.

"Though this does not mean that one must never relax."

[losthunter]

"It is important to find a way to balance such things."

[poetwarrior]

"Indeed." If he has to have a temporary host, Faris is quite glad that he's found this one. They do seem to agree on quite a few things.
