Will accept character sheets

A multiversal plane is not an every day occurrence. Aliens, zombies, sentient robots... they're not a familiar sight either. Despite all of this, Isidor Briar Durant strides into this unfamiliar territory chin up, tailored suit, heels clicking against the ground, as if she owns the place. Viatorus follows nervously behind her, offering her answers whenever the smallest spark of confusion appears in her eyes as she scans area. She takes her time about putting names and terms to the things around her. It is important. She needs to be more than just informed about the Nexus, she needs to be familiar with it.

And then, when she decides she's ready, her intense examination changes with a blink. Isidor clasps her hands together and smiles, becoming the picture of a friendly stranger. "Hello. This is an exciting place, isn't it? Full of interesting people, I'm certain. I'd very much like to get to know you. Your name, a little bit about you and where you come from, maybe."

He is polite and quiet, thin, oddly bonelike hands folded in front of him. When he takes the offered pen and notebook, it becomes obvious there are holes in the figures hands, running through his palms.

Thank you. I apologize for my silence, words are not things that come easily to me anymore.

What is it that you needed to know, madam?

My name is Doctor W.D. Gaster. PHD in applied sciences, physics and engineering.

He remembers that part so well.

I come from a place called the Underground, hidden behind a barrier set by humans a very long time ago. At this point, I am not sure if we have bypassed it or not.

I have no idea how I came to be here.

It is a pleasure to meet you.

The Underground is where my people were banished. There was a war between my people and humanity, and we were put behind the barrier.

It was an unfortunate matter. I wish that it never came to pass.
voidedman: (that doesnt even)

I'm sure, being human as you are, you would not react well to the name of my species, madam.

He looks apologetic, his shoulder drooping as he issues a soft sigh.

It has become an insult on the surface.

I am a monster, Madam

He lets it sink in for a moment, before shrugging.

That is what we are called. We are all monsters, in the Underground.
voidedman: (eh?)

I know. Hence my worry of using the word. It is simply what we are, and within that are subspecies.

I was a skeleton. Once...

Now he's not sure what he is.

... I am nobody and nothing.

The smile on his face was sad.

I simply do not exist.

For the time being, but even this is tenuous, at best. I am here, barely.

On occasion, I am real, yes. It is a confusing thing to think of, isn't it? Both real and not real.

Is it? I never gave it much thought. I hardly imagine myself as such, just... someone who has become very lost.

Before now, I assumed I was gone forever. Now it appears to be entirely random. But I suppose sporadic existence is better than none at all, isn't it?
