Snow has fallen in the Nexus! Fat, fluffy flakes of white, piling and drifting from ankle- to knee-depth in places. It may still be falling, in places, and in the midst of it all is a Norse godling packing snowballs and a grin. "I swear, I had nothing to do with it--but! What's your favorite thing to do with a fresh fall of snow?"

"Hey, you're pretty good. You should team up with that guy in blue. Me and Jim're building a fort, and he's gonna build another one." In the midst of the snow-throwing, he has a thought. "We're gonna need more snow."

"That might be a bit unfair," he comments thoughtfully as he looks over at Hughes. Then Loki voices his concerns and Reynard laughs again, loudly. "There won't be a shortage of snow this Winter, my dear boy! Certainly not today!"

"Well, that's why he needs the help. We're gonna try and get Verity on our team, too, so no poaching!"

The promise of more snow is met with a grin and another snowball, because Loki totally didn't plan to goad the winter-spirit into makin' it rain snow.

"Careful now. Verity might defect when she sees my handsome face in the other fort."

As if Reynard wasn't already planning on keeping the snow thick and fluffy across all the Nexus. That doesn't mean to say he won't have heavier snowfall on his side of the field...

"Or she might put a snowball in it!" he counters with a grin. "You think she'd turn her back on her brother?"

Except snow can be made into ammo when picked up and money cannot

"I think anyone could be convinced to do anything for their favourite flavour ice-cream."

Turning money into ammo is what Wal-Mart is for.

Loki grows thoughtful at that. "That casts the 'I scream, you scream,' rhyme in a whole different light."

Reynard also stops to think about that. "I... may try using that at some point."

"What would you do for a Klondike bar?"

Reynard tilts his head at the little god. "A punchline I'm not familiar with."

"It's a commercial on the mortal television where I'm from. They ask people what they'd do for a slab of iced cream coated in chocolate, and the absurdity of their answer is meant to highlight the product's desirability," Loki explains. "It can get silly."

"I shall have to look it up when I get access to the internet. A bit of absurdity is always fun."

"It is!" Loki agrees brightly. "It's so nice to meet someone else who sees that!"

"It's usually nice to meet me," he declares with a wink. He takes his hat off in a sweeping bow. "I am Reynard North. Nice to meet a fellow merrymaker."

Loki grins and bows in turn, answering, "Loki Laufeyson, and it's nice to be counted merry!"

"Loki Laufeyson? An honour. This will be an interesting Winter indeed!"

"Oh, my reputation precedes me, eh?" He smirks and scratches the back of his head. "Which, ah, part of my reputation is preceding me?"

"Your divine and mischievous nature. I know a few tales but not as many as I should."

"Divine and mischievous works for me," Loki agrees. "And if you know Verity, she knows some of the best stories."
