Trixie's lucky day? (Aka +1 unicorn XD)

That right there sure would be a unicorn with a bright azure blue coat and cornflower blue mane, trotting right out of nowhere into the forum. The thing that she's pulling, looks like a combination of a cart, storefront and small house behind her... It's not a huge wagon by any means, but one gets the feeling that there is more to it than a first glance would have you believe...

Trixie decreased her speed from a canter, to a trot, and finally a full stop as she looked around the area with a puzzled, but also surprised, look on her face. "Hmmm... Well, this is new..." It didn't take her long to spot what she thought had to be the ugliest sign she'd ever seen, and shortly there after, the 'Welcome to the Nexus' brochure. "Nexus?"

Floating the pamphlet over using magic, she started to read it, and looked quite intrigued by the information. "Interesting... I wonder..."

Clearing her throat, she looked around and asked "Could anyone please tell me what the local currency here is?" She paused and considered things a moment. "Also, do I need a permit to sell items here?"

Well, why not? It's not like she had any urgent business anywhere, any chance to for her to gain knowledge, new items and perhaps sell some of her wares, it would be stupidity of the highest order to let an opportunity like this pass her by.

Khajiit rarely laugh in mixed company; something about the hissing quality of the sound leads to a number of misunderstandings. But her expression betrays her true feelings of amusement, however strange the sound.

There are many things about Tamriel that Trixie truly does not want to explore. They make daggers that weigh more than cinderblocks. They gave up magic that let them fly. They are a strange, confused people when it comes to concepts like gravity and weight.

Ravari purrs her approval at the understanding. "Indeed, that is quite what I meant. And I think, perhaps, if we feel generous, it might be fruitful for some of the other alchemists I know here. One, I believe, lives here permanently; she would be able to keep watch over any gardens we might choose to plant, yes?"

There will be many things to startle them both. Ravari takes no offense at being one of them sometimes.

"Yes, it is a project for the future. But perhaps it is good to keep in mind now, in case a good deal comes along? To have a goal to work towards can be pleasant and productive." Ravari's in no rush, but if a good opportunity comes along, she likes to be ready to pounce. In this place, opportunity is often fleeting.

"The arch-mage and his apprentice both practice alchemy. There is a powerful mage of some foreign magic I do not understand here as well. And there have been others who have passed through as well."

"That is also wise. If you intend to make a study of magic here, that will be most time-consuming. I believe you shall have no trouble meeting them, the promise of good commerce often draws them out."

And, speaking of, Ravari looks past Trixie briefly. "Do you intend to set up shop today?"

She's disappointed, but she can't blame Trixie for being careful. Unstable magic is frightening at the best of times.

"Ah, that is understandable. I shall leave you to it and wish you luck, and perhaps in a few days we shall meet again under more favorable circumstances?"

"I, too, look forward to speaking again. I shall seek you out again soon," she promises. "I have a feeling it will not be hard to find directions to your camp, once you've chosen one." People will remember the blue unicorn with the big cart. Being so unique in a place like this will be a big boon to Trixie when she opens her shop--so long as she can handle some people coming to gawk at her as much as checking her wares.
