Trixie's lucky day? (Aka +1 unicorn XD)
That right there sure would be a unicorn with a bright azure blue coat and cornflower blue mane, trotting right out of nowhere into the forum. The thing that she's pulling, looks like a combination of a cart, storefront and small house behind her... It's not a huge wagon by any means, but one gets the feeling that there is more to it than a first glance would have you believe...
Trixie decreased her speed from a canter, to a trot, and finally a full stop as she looked around the area with a puzzled, but also surprised, look on her face. "Hmmm... Well, this is new..." It didn't take her long to spot what she thought had to be the ugliest sign she'd ever seen, and shortly there after, the 'Welcome to the Nexus' brochure. "Nexus?"
Floating the pamphlet over using magic, she started to read it, and looked quite intrigued by the information. "Interesting... I wonder..."
Clearing her throat, she looked around and asked "Could anyone please tell me what the local currency here is?" She paused and considered things a moment. "Also, do I need a permit to sell items here?"
Well, why not? It's not like she had any urgent business anywhere, any chance to for her to gain knowledge, new items and perhaps sell some of her wares, it would be stupidity of the highest order to let an opportunity like this pass her by.

It's fine. Not every beat in a conversation needs to be a long one.

"I do need to find a way between my world and here... If a stable enough path exists, I must confess I am considering possibly setting up a semi-permanent shop here. There are so many new possibilities to explore..."
While she wouldn't want to live here permanently, it would be a phenomenal place to have a... vacation home, of sorts.

His smile becomes a grin at her mention of needing a way home. "Ah, now there we come to one of my specialties. I have a spell which can guide a person to the portal back to their world--most of the time."
((So, I should ask, do you want Trixie stranded here, or able to find a path home? Or would you prefer she find some other way, rather than become slightly indebted to the local fairy loan shark?))

((I don't want her stranded, and Schön isn't going to ask her to go against her morals right? So what's a little bit of debt between (hopefully) friends? XD))

"No time limit, no. I need only a strand of your hair, or some other such trifle, to attune the spell to you--and by extension, the world from which you come." His voice is soothing, his smile pleasant. Why make the hard-sell pitch when a nice, soft one will do?

She gives him a smile in return and considers the request. Freely given hair was something she'd have to consider carefully, there was magical potential there and she's unsure of trusting him with that.
"I will consider it then. If there is no rush, I would much rather spend a few days checking over my cart and items. I do not want to leave compromised enchantments unrepaired and risk a collapse of my work."
It's not 'no', but at the same time, she would rather get her bearings first and get a better sense of him before trusting him like that. Trixie might be trusting, but she's not stupid.

He nods, untroubled by her desire to wait. "Of course. I would imagine no less from a dutiful practitioner of the Art. Should I, perhaps, allow you to see to such before asking to peruse your wares?"
no subject
"That would likely be best, otherwise there may not be any wares to peruse." She gives him a little grin, but it's a very real worry. She was normally very confident in her enchanting, but her appearance here was not something she'd considered when creating it.

"I shall leave you to it, then. When you are ready, though, I am rarely difficult to find. It has been a pleasure, meeting you."

"Thank you. It has also been a pleasure to meet you. Feel free to come find me once I have settled in and set up shop." She would rather trade for a known item, than an unknown favor.

"Until then, may you enjoy the Nexus in good health." Taking his hat from his cane, he puts it back on with a flourish. He offers a gracious bow before his cane springs into his hand and, turning, he strolls away.
