Trixie's lucky day? (Aka +1 unicorn XD)
That right there sure would be a unicorn with a bright azure blue coat and cornflower blue mane, trotting right out of nowhere into the forum. The thing that she's pulling, looks like a combination of a cart, storefront and small house behind her... It's not a huge wagon by any means, but one gets the feeling that there is more to it than a first glance would have you believe...
Trixie decreased her speed from a canter, to a trot, and finally a full stop as she looked around the area with a puzzled, but also surprised, look on her face. "Hmmm... Well, this is new..." It didn't take her long to spot what she thought had to be the ugliest sign she'd ever seen, and shortly there after, the 'Welcome to the Nexus' brochure. "Nexus?"
Floating the pamphlet over using magic, she started to read it, and looked quite intrigued by the information. "Interesting... I wonder..."
Clearing her throat, she looked around and asked "Could anyone please tell me what the local currency here is?" She paused and considered things a moment. "Also, do I need a permit to sell items here?"
Well, why not? It's not like she had any urgent business anywhere, any chance to for her to gain knowledge, new items and perhaps sell some of her wares, it would be stupidity of the highest order to let an opportunity like this pass her by.

((Because friendship is magic /ducks rotten fruit))"I do custom enchanting and also have a very large variety of items, potions, ingredients, plants, cloth..." Pausing a moment she amends "I think I'll be leaving the potions packed until I can determine if they are safe for more than Equestria natives... Causing someone harm because something is unsafe for a different species, is not something I'd want to do..."

Friendship is the best Khajiit magic!"Ah, a wizard as well as a merchant? My people are not so skilled at the magic arts, but alchemy is one we know well. It is wise to be cautious in introducing new ingredients and potions to people who are unprepared for them. I might be able to help you test your potions, and can offer some of my own in exchange for you to test as well?"
no subject
"I would very much welcome the assistance with testing potions, as well as a trade of information. I normally only create simple and common potions, because I am well aware that it is not my strong point... but I would be more than willing to offer copies of some of the more complicated potions recipes that I have."

This deal keeps getting better and better. "That would be most kind. I have collected many recipes in my travels, and would be pleased to share them with you as well. I have also found some use with some of the plants native to this place. I propose we share our discoveries on that subject with each other whenever we have the chance."
no subject
"Sharing discoveries would be most welcome. Once I get myself sorted and set up, would you be willing to perhaps trade cuttings or seeds as well? I'm always looking for new components and ingredients..." It was a good thing that Trixie could enchant items, since otherwise she'd never be able to fit everything into her cart.

It's best not to ask about Tamriellic pockets. They seem to be infinite in size but restricted as to weight. Very strange. "Ah, yes, that would be most fruitful for us both I think." In fact, it's giving Ravari an idea. Something she'll have to think about.
She and Trixie aren't the only alchemists in the Nexus. This could be a very interesting collaboration.

If she knew about said pockets, she'd be asking all sorts of questions about them. She's managed to create an area that was limited in size, but also had no weight limit that she'd yet to find. If she could combine the two... she'd never have to worry about space in her wagon again.
"Fruitful in both the metaphorical and physical meanings of the word..." Trixie was well aware it was a bit of a bad joke, she just couldn't help herself.

There are many things about Tamriel that Trixie truly does not want to explore. They make daggers that weigh more than cinderblocks. They gave up magic that let them fly. They are a strange, confused people when it comes to concepts like gravity and weight.
Ravari purrs her approval at the understanding. "Indeed, that is quite what I meant. And I think, perhaps, if we feel generous, it might be fruitful for some of the other alchemists I know here. One, I believe, lives here permanently; she would be able to keep watch over any gardens we might choose to plant, yes?"
no subject
"That might be something to consider. It would certainly make ingredient gathering much easier for all involved... perhaps even profitable if there are many magic users here..." She shakes her head to get herself out of her little thought world.
"I think however, that is something for us to consider later. First I must get myself sorted and figure out if I can travel freely between my own world and here... along with any time distortions that may be involved..." She likes the idea of course, but one had to walk before they could trot.

"Yes, it is a project for the future. But perhaps it is good to keep in mind now, in case a good deal comes along? To have a goal to work towards can be pleasant and productive." Ravari's in no rush, but if a good opportunity comes along, she likes to be ready to pounce. In this place, opportunity is often fleeting.
"The arch-mage and his apprentice both practice alchemy. There is a powerful mage of some foreign magic I do not understand here as well. And there have been others who have passed through as well."

When Ravari mentions more magic users, she'll likely be able to tell Trixie is interested. "I should find somewhere to stock up on ink, quills and blank books perhaps? I'm not a clairvoyant... but believe I can foresee a lot of spell and recipe trading..."

And, speaking of, Ravari looks past Trixie briefly. "Do you intend to set up shop today?"

It was one of the pitfalls of having a heavily enchanted space. As long as it was stable, it was great... but with everything she had in there that was contained in such a small space... Trixie did not want an explosion on her hooves. At least the locket she had enchanted came through unscathed. That meant she had access to a few things in the meantime, like 'bits', her master journal and a few gems, along with some odds and ends.

"Ah, that is understandable. I shall leave you to it and wish you luck, and perhaps in a few days we shall meet again under more favorable circumstances?"
no subject
"Please feel free to come seek me out in a few days? I will likely not stray from my cart for a while once I've started to set things up, but I would welcome the chance to speak to you again."
