His day is just dragon on...
That sure would be what looks like a huge dragon... trying to get it's horns out of the welcome sign... while trying not to do any more damage to the surrounding area. There are brochures flying everywhere too. Looks like someone's entrance to the Nexus was rather unexpected... and having a thirty-ish foot long dragon in the main area of the forum doesn't seem to be a very good idea either...
".... Help?"
((ooc: Or if you don't want to deal with him till he's done getting himself unstuck...))
"Ah... Do these come in a larger size?" Skyfire holds up a brochure between two claws... and it looks a bit worse for wear. "I'm having some trouble holding it well enough to read it..."

With an exasperated sigh, climbs up the side of the sign to where the horns are caught and takes hold of one. "Stop moving, and this will be easier on the both of us."
no subject
"Sorry?" Sonic might have some issues getting those horns loose, because they're wedged in there pretty good. The tips of multi pronged horns clearly snag very well when punched into something. "Thank you for attempting to get me loose..." Skyfire didn't know if the help would work, but even the offer of help was appreciated.

He's always been a fan of the saying 'Work smarter, not harder,' so he takes his time analyzing just how Skyfire's horns are stuck before pulling out a kunai. "Do you feel sensation through your horns? I'm going to try widening the holes, and while I don't intend for my blade to slip, you might feel it scraping against the sides a bit."
no subject
If Sonic can widen the holes, great, if not... "Sensation yes, pain no..." A sigh "If you can't widen the holes, you might have to remove the ends of the horns..." and if it came down to that, a saw would have to be found somewhere.

"It's not too much of a hardship to loose a bit of them if it gets me loose, but thank you for trying to keep them attached."
Skyfire won't try to move until Sonic says he's clear, not wanting to knock him down or hurt him somehow.

He gives Skyfire one more pat on the head, then drops away from the sign, landing lightly in a crouch. He dusts himself off as he stands, looking up at the dragon. "Try to be more careful in the future, alright? This place can be a little unpredictable at times."
no subject
He huffs lightly and gives Sonic a light, slightly exasperated grin. "You make it sound as if I had a warning before that..." Looking at the sign, he can't help but wince. "...hideous looking sign smacked into me. I was landing in a field outside of my home not... Wherever this place is."
There's no aggression or irritation in his voice, just a slightly tired sense of amusement. Skyfire has been doing his best to stay positive about everything... and it's half working.

"This place, as the hideous looking sign says, is the Nexus." He waves at the sign, which doesn't look at all like a dragon just ran into it. "I've been here... three or four days? It's a little hard to keep track of the time. It doesn't like to be consistent, I've found."

Okay.
She can handle this. She's seen dragons before. And this one doesn't seem to be rampaging so much as flailing. But what she really wants to know is... "How did you manage to hurt that thing? I've seen people shoot it and try to set it on fire with magic and nothing's ever hurt it."
She is super helpful.

He stops moving the instant he realizes that there is somebody close, and huffs softly, trying to find the source of the voice without moving his head.
"I'd say it's the one doing the hurting..." He's not whining, but it really is rather uncomfortable having his head stuck at such an angle. "... I didn't mean to slam into it head first?"
Skyfire had wound up in the Nexus quite suddenly, as he was landing to be precise. So speed, plus landing at an angle, combined with a surprise entrance to the Nexus, apparently equaled a confused dragon with it's horns stuck in a nearly invulnerable sign.

Ver moves slowly around the dragon, careful to stay out of range of the flailing while she tries to get a better look at what happened to him. "Try to hold still, okay? We'll figure this out. Just. Hold still while we do that."
no subject
"You don't have to worry about that... It's pretty hard to get on my bad side..." Mostly true, unless someone is purposely trying to hurt someone or abusing them, Skyfire is pretty forgiving...
He huffs softly, then sighs, while holding as still as he can. "Warn me if you need to climb on me to get a better look? I don't want to end up harming you accidentally..." Totally true, he hates the thought of hurting anyone. On the bright side, with those big feather wings and red 'mane' down the middle of his back, it would be fairly easy for someone to climb on him.
no subject
"Good to know. I don't make a habit of climbing on people without asking permission. But it's hard to see what happened from down here. I don't want to hurt you, but if you think you could stand it, I'd like to try getting closer to where you're stuck. If there's something caught on your horns, I might be able to help you get it off."

All he said so far has been totally true. He actually missed playing with children and other people... He'd been alone far too long after getting used to spending so much time having friends.
no subject
That said, climbing up a dragon is not something she's really prepared for
Samus why didn't you teach her rock climbing sooner such a failure as a trainer geez. There may be a few amusing false moves--amusing for other people to watch, less so for her and possibly Skyfire to live through."Sorry, sorry..."
no subject
"It's alright. Just go slow... Having you climbing on me is fine, so try not to worry..."

Hope this is ok... I may have been a touch godmodish...
Is good, but thanks for checking. :)
:3 I try not to godmod, but sometimes it's very hard to write a tag without doing it a little @@
So long as you're willing to rewrite on request it's okay. It helps move things along.
Of course. I'll almost always rewrite on request godmod issue or not.

He puts down the book he was reading and cautiously approaches. "What happened?"
no subject
"I seem to have crashed into something..." He hasn't figured out just what he's gotten his horns tangled in, or where he is "...and I think I'm stuck..." but he knows it's not where he was not long ago.
Skyfire is clearly fighting with the sign, and he's not winning. There might be a few holes in the back of the sign later... or pieces of his horns if it comes to cutting them off to get himself free. Though he stops struggling when he realizes whoever it is that is approaching is fairly close, not wanting to hurt anyone.

The ends of Skyfire's horns have punctured the back of the sign, with the angle of his head causing him no end of trouble in trying to move his head in the right directions so that he can pull them out. Mostly because he can't see which way to turn and the prongs keep catching back in the holes if he does manage to get a few free.

"This has to be one of the strangest situations that I've encountered in a long time..." It'll likely take a bit of work, but his horns will eventually pop free from the sign.
